Failure is the Start of Success

It started in the back of a beat-up 2004 pickup truck with a rusted tailgate, a second-hand lawnmower that took six pulls to start, and less than forty dollars left in my bank account.

Before A&M Motion Landscaping ever had a name, it had a trail of failures. I tried different jobs, launched projects that flunked, and made mistakes that cost me everything down to my last dime. People told me to cut my losses and get a stable job. But sitting on a curb one evening, looking at a neglected yard across the street, something clicked. Landscaping wasn't just about cutting grass—it was about transformation. It was about taking something broken, messy, and overgrown, and putting it back in motion.

I bought my first set of used tools off online yard sales, knocking on doors until my knuckles were raw and my voice was dry. The first two years were an absolute grind. I worked 14-hour days under blistering suns, fixing broken equipment by flashlight in my driveway at midnight just to be ready for the next morning. There were months where every dollar earned went right back into keeping the truck running and buying gas for the weed eater.

I chose the name A&M Motion Landscaping because "motion" meant never staying stuck in the mud again. It meant relentless progress—for my business, for my life, and for every property we touch. Today, every design we build and every yard we transform carries that same grit. We don't just shape land; we bring energy, movement, and life back to it.
